Based on the popular and open source Pi-Star software this hotspot is the connection between your radio and the rest of the world. It features a 3.5” enhanced Nextion touch screen. A build in battery can operate the device independently for up to 8 hours without external power.
The display shows your Call, Name and DMR ID. It also will indicate the current mode used and sow the station on the air with their call sign, name and location.
It also has screens which display the last 8 heard stations per mode.
It shows the current IP address it is using when connected to your local WiFi network. The unit comes with a preloaded new micro SD card and can be preconfigured with your call and other parameters on request. The unit can be charged and operated with a standard cell phone charger through a USB-C connector.
